Two Paths Into a Campaign
On CreloAI, there are two ways a creator can join a campaign. You can apply from the public campaign feed — where you browse active campaigns and submit your application to any that fit. Or a brand can invite you directly — reaching out after finding your profile through the suggested creators panel.
These paths aren't just different entry points. They lead to meaningfully different workflows, and understanding both helps you maximise your income on the platform.
Applying to Campaigns: The Open Path
When you apply to a campaign from the feed, your application goes to the brand for review. The brand sees your match score, your profile, and all other creators who applied. They then decide whether to approve you.
A few things to know:
- Your match score is computed automatically based on how well your niche, platform, and follower count align with the campaign's targeting. A higher score moves you up in the brand's review queue.
- Campaigns are shown to you based on your market — you'll only see campaigns available in your region.
- After applying, your status shows as Applied until the brand approves or declines you. You can apply to multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Getting Invited: The Direct Path
Brands can proactively invite creators they find through CreloAI's suggested creators panel — a curated list of vetted creators who match the campaign's targeting criteria. If a brand invites you, your application skips the approval queue entirely. You go directly to Approved to Post status — no waiting for the brand to review you among dozens of other applicants.
This is a significant advantage. Invited creators get faster access to campaigns, often from better-funded brands who are actively investing in creator outreach rather than passively waiting for applications.
To be invited: your profile needs to be discoverable and compelling. Brands looking at the suggested creators list see your name, photo, platform, follower count, average views, and niche. A profile with complete niche tags, a connected social account with accurate stats, and a filled-in bio is far more likely to get noticed.
After You're Approved: What Happens Next
Whether you applied and were approved, or were directly invited, your next step is the same: create and post your content according to the campaign brief, then submit your post URL. For barter campaigns, you'll first receive the product — make sure your shipping address is saved in your profile to avoid delays.
For PPV campaigns: once your post URL is submitted, the platform monitors views. When views are verified, your earnings are calculated at the campaign's PPV rate. You can track your views and earnings from your campaign dashboard.
Tips for Getting More Campaigns (Both Ways)
- Keep your social accounts connected and stats up to date — your avg_views stat directly affects match scoring and invite targeting.
- Complete every campaign you accept. A strong completion record makes you more visible to brands browsing creator profiles.
- Be specific about your niches in your profile. "Lifestyle" gets you fewer matches than "skincare, wellness, home decor" — the more precise, the better your match scores.
- Respond to brand invites quickly. Brands who invited you are actively watching; a fast response builds a relationship for repeat campaigns.
